• SCOPE OF WORK

• The Services were provided by BARQAAB alone with no associates.  The Services included Geological mapping of rock cut slopes and preparation of sections, Review and Approval of Contractors method statement, Construction Management of rock excavation and adit excavation. 

  Gomal Zam Dam is located in South Wazirastan in KPK on river Gomal.  The ground breaking ceremony of the Dam was performed by the President of Pakistan in August 2001.  The Project is going to be constructed on EPC/Turnkey bases the Vision 2025 programme.  The multipurpose project consists of a Roller Compacted Concrete Dam 133 m high with a live storage of 0.892 MAF, a power house with a capacity of 17.4 MW and a barrage with irrigation system and appurtenant structures to provide year round irrigation to about 163,000 Acres in Dera Ismail Khan plain.
